LIQUID WAFER STYLE TURBINE RETRO FIT KITS

All turbine flow meters are subject to wear on the internal components, especially bearings, shafts and rotors, that lead to accelerating deterioration in accuracy, repeatability and performance, generally. It is typical for turbine flow meters to be regularly calibrated for k-factor, depending upon the nature and importance of the particular flow metering installation. This calibration can be accomplished either in the field, or by returning meters periodically to service companies, or the original manufacturer.

During this periodic proving, the internals of the meter can be examined and the need for replacement can be ascertained.

For this reason, Turbines, Inc. maintains a substantial inventory of "retro fit" kits in inventory.

Each kit is provided with the lab proven k-factor, and includes the rotor, rotor supports, shaft, bearings, and retaining rings.
